TRAFFIC SAFETY ALERT:
Drive defensively and slow down on 15th Street.
Street and Sidewalk Closure: Saturday, February 22, 2025, Colorado Street between 16th and 17th Streets and both sidewalks will be closed for 24 hours. A mobile crane will be delivering heavy equipment to a worksite.
Nighttime Street Closure: The east intersection of Lavaca and W. 16th Street will be closed nightly from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. through March 7, 2025, for utility work. W. 16th Steet will be closed from Lavaca to Colorado each night. There will be no thru traffic access at this intersection. Use W. 17th Street for east /west travel across Lavaca.
Garage J: Be aware of intermittent closures of the W. 16th Street entrance and exit lanes, as construction teams install utilities for Phase II. Most closures will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please use the Guadalupe entrance for Garage J and exit to Lavaca, when possible.
