JE Dunn conducts weekly toolbox meetings to help everyone on site keep safety top of mind. The meetings take place in the early pre-dawn hours before work starts and cover a wide range of subjects timely to the current work effort. A recent meeting topic was preventing illness while managing cold temperatures in the morning and warm temperatures in the afternoon. Now that the basement levels of the 1501 Lavaca State Office Building are rising, the meeting also included a discussion on hazards when working at high elevations.
