Our Business Commitment
Mission
The mission of the Office of Business Opportunities is to provide guidance and assistance to businesses seeking contract opportunities with TFC. TFC fulfills this mission through outreach efforts, such as education and training in doing business with the State of Texas and especially the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC). To learn more about the opportunities available for the Capitol Complex Project Phase II Project, please use the link below to visit the Texas Facilities Commission website.
As of December 2, 2025, the state’s Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program has been restructured under emergency rules and will now operate as Veteran Heroes United in Business (VetHUB), a program focused exclusively on small businesses owned and operated by veterans with a 20 percent or higher service-connected disability. The emergency rules adjust the program’s focus to service-disabled veterans who qualify under legislative guidelines established in 2015.

Meet our Business Partners
Realizing the vision of the Capitol Complex Project takes the tireless efforts of many talented professionals. It’s easy to say that bringing a project this size to life takes thousands of people, but that doesn’t provide a clear understanding of their dedication and expertise. Through the Team Spotlight series in the TFC Capitol Complex Update newsletter, we tell the stories of the companies that have come together to build this historic project to honor their contributions and celebrate their achievements.
