Yellow vapor barrier, known as Stego Wrap, sealed with red Stego Tape on the Texas Capitol Mall site. The wrap and tape combination creates a water-tight seal between the individual sections. The primary purpose of the vapor barrier is to function as a waterproofing layer, providing protection between the underlying gravel and the concrete slab on grade.
On the morning of Saturday, November 23, the final slab-on-grade was poured, and the site team is now shifting focus to vertical construction!
